Bull ants

Have spied huge awful bull ants in my garden bed and I'm very wary of continuing with my plantings until they go.
Need some organic advice please. |

| You could try boiling water - that will kill most of them, as well as soil microbes and earthworms, but it is organic! |

| You could try a mix of Bicarb. of Soda and Black Pepper. |

find the nest and continue to dig it over they will give up and move They do seem to like compacted clay because it is hard and dry I suppose...hard means tunnels don't collapse and dry because it means no mould Be careful that they don't move to anywhere else that is a problem for you Remember that bullants are a good insect to have near a garden ...they are predators...and you must learn to coexist with nature (you are part of it) so tolerate them where they are not a problem cheers Peter |

| I know of a guy got rid of his bull ants and the singapore ants moved in -=bummer |
