 o
cut worms?

I pulled out some old basil and was breaking up the soil (in a pot) when I came across some fat white grubs deep in the soil. I pulled out at least 25. Someone told me they are called "cut worms" and they eat the roots of plants. Is this true.

You seem to have much better success getting responses to this question on the Cornucopia forum, Toby7. Maybe pestilence and disease are just not popular subjects.

Hi Toby 7, you could drench your pots in a little carbryl or similar and that will help keeep them out. Good luck. Peter
