Does the fruit fly exist in Tas?

Don't think so, the Meditteranean and the Queensland fruit fly prefer warmer climes as far as I know. (Im no expert though, just an average gardener)

i think they come under the heading 'tropical fruit fly', but if i remember correctly i think they get fruit fly in victoria and south australia, never heard of them in tasmania though.

SA gets the Mediterranean fruit fly only. I've never heard of it in Tas.
