Purple Insect Eggs

Posted by Kels QLD Aust (My Page) on

Just taking the clothes off our line, attached to a pair of underwear were 4 purple/nearly violet coloured insect eggs. They were about the size of 5mm in diameter, laid in sequence as the 4 dots on a dice and when squashed were all sticky inside. Would anyone know what type of insect laid these particular type of eggs? Thanks.

A phonecall or email to the Qld Museum will probably give you the answer.
