| Can someone recommend specific perennials for the following situation...
- Within a small patio space
- Completely shaded in winter (shaded by a building)
- 5 to 6 hours of direct sun in the peak of summer
- Low-maintenance, and drought tolerant
- Dependable, with showy flowers or foliage.
- Fragrant perhaps?
Any thoughts are appreciated...

| You could try espaliering a Star Jasmine, (Trachelospermum jasminoides) in a diamond pattern up the wall. It's amazingly drought tolerant and seems happy in sun or shade. Lovely perfume too. |
