| I have a mysterious plant that everyone wants to call a red hot poker, but it is certainly not that plant.
It consists of long strappy flat green leaves that grow not unlike an agapanthus but it has thrown up a very long blood red or maroon stem and has now flowered with a single flower (6 petals) of mainly red with some white stripe and some lime green back in the middle of the flower. This flower looks alot like the one in the link provided but I somehow don't think it's a red lilly either...? I wonder if anyone here can identify this for me.
Thanks in advance for any help..!

| Sorry...it has either 5 or six flowers atop each stem (each flower has 6 petals) and the stem is thick and probably looks more like a purple colour than maroon. Flower looks just like in the photo ...thanks again |
