Machabella & Ruella

Hope someone can be of help with this one....
I have bought a couple of plants at the markets, one was called "machabella" and the other "ruella". The first one has like a small purple bell as a flower, the other one a dark pink, a sort of trumpet shape. Can anyone tell me what their real name is, I can not find them anywhere under that name and I would like to know a bit more about their care.
Thanks very much for any suggestions.

Try Googling images of:
1. Mackaya bella
2. Ruellia macrantha
Both are actually shrubs, though some other Ruellias are herbaceous.
