Soil preparation & where to plant hydrangeas

| I have struck some hydrangeas from cuttings and am now wondering where to put them in my garden. Any suggestions for soil preparation and spots in the garden that hydrangeas like? |

| The best I have seen have been on south facing walls or fences, both in Albany and across the street, getting only late afternoon sun. They like a bit extra moisture so don't mind a damp spot. Check the soil Ph to determine the colour. |
