Is Morning Glory an annual or perennial?

Posted by katiezub (My Page) on

I have read conflicting things - is MG an annual or perennial?

Is it possible for a plant to be an annual in one country but perennial in another?

Does it depend on climate?

I have morning glorys planted in window boxes in an awkward spot and don't really want to have to reseed each year.

Thanks.

Both. Depends on the type of morning glory. There are annual ones and perennial ones.

I have the "Pearly Gates" variety.
I think it is the common MG but with white flowers.

Is this an annual or perennial?
