is there anything that can be planted now that will show
well in five weeks in time for my husband's 60th. birthday party?

Look at the seedling at the local nursery - ask them - they should be able to help you organise a display.

hi Patti depending on how much you want to spend you could either go to kmart or bunnings as they have in the nurseries small 3" pots of flowering plants I think they are about $1.66 _$1.99 and I have bought these before when I was stuck for quick colour and it worked a treat so good luck and have a great party and happy birthday Mr Patti

went to my nearest bunnings store & they wanted to charge
$55.00 for home delivery; (not a motorist). i'm back to square one & my small nursery around the corner who don't charge delivery!!
