Where can I buy pom-pom lookalike Chrysanthemums?

| Just wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase these plants anywhere in Australia. I saw them at the florist during Mother's Day this year and they were absolutely beautiful, so I'm trying to buy a few and grow it myself.
Thanks!

I have seen them at KMart in the garden section. Just look through the bulbs. Robyn

Wait till the spring catalogues come out. Why not put your name down with the likes of Bulb Express, Tesselaars and specialist nurseries and you will be able to get from the big mail order nurseries. Put your name down and they will send you the catalogue when it comes out and you know what you are buying. Any I have seen for sale I would not buy because it is last year's bulbs and most are just dead.

BigW usually has some REALLY good clearance prices on chrysanthemums after Mothers day - you're probably a bit late, but it'd be worth a check. I seem to recall someone in Kalamunda in WA having a fairly good variety - you'll find them in the classified section of the garden magazines. Pam

You can create your own pom pom if you want. There is a website www.angelfire.com - a fellow by the name of George Harrington in South Australia has lots of information on growing chrysanthemums. I'm going to give it a go. I grew some pink doubles this year and they have flowered spectacularly. Good luck. Helene
