Are They Tuberoses?

Can someone please tell me what the tubers look like? I was given quite a few dozen a few years ago of supposed tuberoses which were skinny little inch long to 2" long tubers. They did absolutely nothing for years. This spring they produced a beautiful little flower but the tuber has become round like a gooseberry. No pics I'm afraid.

Yes, the baby bulbs are much more long and skinny than those that are mature. They will only ever flower once, so every couple of years you would do well to go through the bed(?) while they are dormant and remove the bulbs that have flowered.
