elelphant ear seed collecting

hi, I have a couple of elephant ears and one of them has a flower stalk on it and I was wondering if you can collect viable seeds off them? I usually just grow the pups if they get any but was going to offer the seed at the exchange forum if its possible. (these are the green ones that get to a few feet tall with the big leaves - sorry I dont know the proper name for them!) :)

Assuming this is Alocasia macrorhizos/brisbanensis, the fruit will be bright red when ripe. Seeds can be collected, the red pulp removed and sown asap.
