RE: hello

g'day alan,

for most of us over here we are in drought conditions so unless we live in high rain fall tropical areas we mostly grow native drought resistant plants, not a lot of exotic gardening going on but some still perservere.

for us gardening is mostly about growing plants that will produce food.

RE: hello

Hi Alan,
Welcome!
Living in the Wet Tropics of Far North Queensland, we grow lots of tropical plants including plumeria, including P. pudica, heliconias, bromeliads, orchids especially epiphytic orchids like dendrobiums which are very easy, and different types of palms. There's also lots of shrubs and understorey plants too numerous to mention. :)
