If anyone is interested there, please send me an Email and I can organise some information to get to you. We will be producing our own magazines and will focus only on the cultivation of tropical plants ie: Cordylines, Crotons, Heliconias, Gingers, Calatheas, Bamboo, Palms, Cycads, Dracaenas, Dieffenbachias, Aglaonemas etc etc (but definately NO roses or camellias)!!

I too, would like to join this group.
Am a keen gardener and love all the tropical foliage plants..especially crotons and cordylines.
Another real addiction is the fantastic flowering Anthuriums--so this would be an ideal group for me.
Could some one who knows how I might become a member please answer my email and tell me how I can join??

With your interest in tropical foliage plants. especially cordylines, crotons and anthuriums you would be far better off joining the International Cordyline Society Inc base in Brisbane.

You would be able to attend monthly meeting and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our member’s gardens.

Write to the secretary@cordyline.org for information.

Wayne

Latest edition of newsletter arrived today. Must say in such a short time you folk have done wonders, congratulations to Andrew for this brain-child and all the other interested parties working so hard. I subscribed more for showing local support as my contribution is probably going to be zilch otherwise. But I would urge anyone with a hankering here or overseas to join ,the membership fees are low the support of rising membership is showing in what ultimately will be a top little periodical and its not too bad right now and there will be a web-site. Again, well done to the committee!!

Thanks for the comments Alison. We are trying hard to make "Tropical Topics" as informative and interesting as we can. Remember though if you have anything at all to contribute to it please don't hesitate, it will make the editors job just that bit easier. We will soon hopefully have a branch operating in the Brisbane area as there are a number of keen members down there. We also are getting interest from the US and other countries and have a few international members already.

Regards,
Andrew.
