The International Cordyline Society is building a large green house on the southern side of Brisbane to house their extensive collection of advanced tropical foliage plants.

With the diversity of plant species, the Society will be holding plant clinics to provide members and guests an opportunity to manage and develop their collection.

Many readers would have seen the Society’s collection on displays at the Feature Gardens which include the Tropical Affair, Tropical Foliage Festival, RNA Show (Ekka) and the ABC Gardening Expo.

The Society was a major exhibitor at 2006 ABC Gardening Expo with a massive Feature Garden 9 metres x 9 metres (81sq metres) full of tropical foliage plants.

The continued growth of the International Cordyline Society is due the genuine commitment of its members and the support of the Horticultural Community, Garden Enthusiasts and the General Public who attend their functions.

If you would like to participate or become a member, please send me an email and you can embrace the wonderful and colourful world of Tropical Foliage Plants

The extensive collection of advanced tropical foliage plants owned by the International Cordyline Society is for education and development.

The Society has two major functions (1) Tropical Foliage Festival (November 2006) and the (2) Tropical Affair (January 2007) where plants are available for sale.

Cordylines, bromeliads, dracaena are being promoted as drought tolerant species that will thrive in our current drought conditions.
