| Another one is the Ginger Flower Festival in Yandina on 20th to 23rd of January 2005. I hope to be in Brisbane on those dates, so I'm going up for a look. Must resist the urge to buy more plants... Cheers, Scott |

| Yes you must resist the urge especially when you see the prices they are asking for some of their gingers and heliconias! |

Of course the most important event is on the 20th , 21st November. Our Open Garden. As well as opening our Garden my wife will have lots of named Bromeliads, Clivias and lots of other plants for sale. John and Debbie rom Horganics will be selling Heliconias, Gingers and Costus at the best prices in town. I will be pushing our opening everywhere I can. Lots of improvements this year. Only down side has been the lack of any decent rain which has held a lot of plants back. Ian |

Hi Ian, sounds like I'll be better off timing my trip to Brisbane to coincide with your open garden! I'm itching to see if clivias will grow up here, but even the standard ones are quite expensive, so I'm a bit hesitant. That and the fact that I haven't finished off my other garden beds. One thing at a time... or so I'm told. Cheers, Scott |
