Don't miss the 19th Century Bush-house. Over 2,000 plants transform Brisbane City Hall’s Courtyard into the cool, shaded world of a 19th Century Bush-House, complete with ferns luxuriant palms, cordylines, foliage, flowering plants and clam shell fountain. Designed by Arno King.
The International Cordyline Society supplied all the cordylines and will donate the collection to the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens at the completion of the exhibition.

| Sigh - it seems that Brisbane's gardening community has really swung into action since I *left* for Rocky a little over 2 years ago .... Hope those who go have a great time. I cant even get a park at our local Botanical Gardens these days (school holidays plus Spring), so I'm afraid my appreciation of public gardening events isnt what it should be :) |
