Water lillies not flowering

| I live in Karratha (north WA) and have quite a few water lillies in large urns (50cmx40cmdeep) they are in full sun but never flower. The leaves are healthy but i just never get any flowers |

| They probably need feeding, I read somewhere you should give them cowdung but I never wanted to put that in my pond. You can buy pellets in any aquarium shop that do the job too.Mine flower and I think it is the excrement( nice word for s...)of the fish, do you have fish in the urns? |
