I am hoping someone can tell me why my hibiscus produce lots and lots of huge buds but rarely any of these buds burst into flower? It is an otherwise very healthy plant. I have noticed it tends to flower (not many though in comparison to bud quantity) after a lot of rain, do hibiscus really need that much water? I normally water three times a week at this time of year.
