Hello all,
I have just e-mailed gardenweb moderators or organisers or what do you call them? To request the addition of a collector's forum/exchange.
I know there are plenty of you who would also like to see this type of forum added so would you please take the time to e-mail gardenweb and show your support. I was directed to the suggestions forum at http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/suggest/.
Please show your support for this forum here also, but as it seems to be a forum for all gardenweb users worldwide you will need to stipulate that we want a GWA collector's forum/exchange. The only thing worse than not having a collector's forum/exchange would be for one to start up on the U.S. site so we could all drool over plants we can't import into Aus.

| Brendan, I agree - its a very good idea and Im sure there are plenty of g.w.Australia users who are interested as I note that they list such things as aroids, hoyas etc as their favourite sites. It is very frustrating not to be able to easily communicate with other collectors in Australia, who have experience with our climate, and growing conditions. I have sent my support for this forum to gw "as above" |
