New Caledonia plants

We had a talk about their fasciniating flora some time ago, with some excellent links and pics from Tony .

Hi
Isn't that a fantastic plant?? had never heard of the genus before and after doing some checking find it to be extremely rare. Seems to be endemic to the dry forest of the island. Do you know why it is so rare >> I'm located in the US and woulld love to try one. thanks gary
