Hello forum
Please can you help me as Im trying to get hold of some banana seeds especially Ensete ventricosum, the Abyssinian banana. Does anybody have some seeds they might be prepared to sell or swap or know of any seed companies or nurseries where I could buy some please?

Hi Roopaw

Did you have your AB grown in full sun or part shade as mine tends to get some leaf scorch if in full sun (unless it hasnt been hardened off)?

You can buy them from Palms & Plants Galore in wattleup (between Freo and Rockingham). I think theyre about $20 for a 300mm pot but they might have gone up and there are bigger ones there too (well last time I looked). I dont grow it, all our space has gone to edible varieties however i would love to track down a Musa velutina!
