xanadu very undense

Please help I have a xanadu and although its alive and seems to be well it seems to be having trouble growing into a dense plant as Ive seen on the net. I have recently repotted it as its root system is so big now it was nearly breaking its old plastic pot I bought it in. I have put it into a 9 inch pot and I think maybe it might just be the extra room it has thats letting it all spread out so should I just wait till after spring and summer to see if it fills its new home.

thanks

If this is the first time you have repotted it, it must be a small plant, give it a little time to grow bigger maybe it had no growing medium left in that last pot.

Is this a inside plant too, as it needs to be in a position with very good light, try fertilizing in the growing season with a slow release fertilizer I find them slow growing as I have some planted in raised beds and in pots outside.
