Hi,
Does any one have seeds of Averrhoa bilimbi? A picture of this fruit can be found here.

| There is a large tree growing in the gardens here , wow its the sourest thing I have ever tasted .. cannot remember if the fruit has seeds .. you rarely find seed in the related 'Starfruit' Averrhoa carambola . |

| bilimbi has thin plate like seeds, which get non-viable very quickly (1 - 2 days). This is one of the main reasons you do not see this seed listed in seed suppliers lists (at least not the good suppliers) |

| Hi all I just found this forum and am looking for Averrhoa bilimbi. Aroideana, could you kindly send a couple of ripe bilimbi fruits to me, please? You could also get the seeds out of the ripe fruits and dry them. I'm willing to pay : ) Thank you. Cheers Sian |
