Tropical Rainforest in 'Lost' series

Hi All,

Those who watch too much TV (ie me) will have seen the 'Getaway' episode where David Reyne took us to the locations in Hawaii where 'Lost' was filmed. Whilst the show's producers seem more intent on using the rainforest for its ability to hide menacing secrets, I'm often struck by just how beautiful their 'background' shots are. Like the majority of Australians, US TV reflects an obsession with the ocean, but the further they venture into the jungle, the happier I am :)

Cheers,

Artie

Ah yes, Musa "evangelineae", much sought-after, I expect.
No, I'm not trying to take the mickey, you're quite right, I often miss the plot on something on TV when I see something interesting plant-wise in the back-ground. I expect the free-to-air TV market of those who might care, is too small to warrant a behind the ferns look at Hawaii - or anywhere else.

You mean there is a scantily-clad *woman* in the link I gave you ? Whoa, I'm going to see if I can have her airbrushed out so that we can see more of the greenery behind her :)
