Hi To anyone and everyone who loves collecting plants, i am a mad plant addict i love Aroids,eg; Anthuriums, philo's ag's etc and will be travelling up north in a few months and am wondering if someone can help me with info on nurseries to visit and any private collectors willing to share knowledge and plants for sale of course, the rarer the better,i will be travelling from Bundaberg all the way up and hopefully i may even get to Darwin,i have been collecting for over 30 years, i live breathe and dream plants plants plants and can never have enough,even if you don't sell plants i love to look at other peoples collections and hear your stories of how you found them,so if anyone has any info for me i would love to hear from you. If you live up north, up in the tropics, then the most fascinating and interesting and the most beautiful plants are, I'm sorry to say, out of your domain. Temperate to cooler climate pamts are the most fascinating: Lamium galeobdolin, Cranesbill geraniums; mecanopsis; Magnolia; cedar; rhododendrum; hosta; clematis; and so many more. Unfortunately, though, the human plant has to content with winters chill! Good luck with you collection.
