| Hi Jamus, Its a well-worn path, but you should be able to Google all of the following and get more information : 1. Roma Street Parklands, Brisbane 2. Brisbane Botanical Gardens, Mt Coot-tha 3. Ginger Factory, Buderim I dont really know the Sunny Coast well enough, but I'm sure that there are lot of private gardens there which would blow minds. It has rich volcanic soil, a warm climate and good rainfall - need I say any more ? Of the 3 I've listed, Roma St and Mt Coot-tha are very highly recommended, while the City Botanic Gardens makes an interesting diversion if you find yourself in the Brisbane CBD. Check the link to the Open Garden scheme below - I noticed that one of the gardens is in Maleny in June. Enjoy, Artie |
