Golden Canes not looking good

Posted by rarrgh QLD Aust (My Page) on

I have a row of Golden Canes and the last 5 of them have all of a sudden had their leaves turning a blotchy browny colour, working along the rest of the leaves until the whole frond is dead. It doesn't appear to be the normal self-pruning that they usually do... could it be caused by something else? like poison? or a pest ? or over fertilising?

I'll try and post some pictures if necessary.

Well start from the base up. It has been very dry, and they don;t like that.
Start looking for pests, ants can be indicator if you have soft scale or mealies esp inside the base of the fronds.
I'll wait for the rest to come on board.
