Hello, I have had great success with plain clay cat litter. Fill your pots with the cat litter then dunk them to just below the top of the pot in water. You'll hear the clay sizzling as it absorbs water and you will see the surface become wet. Take the pots out, sprinkle your seed on the surface and seal the whole lot into a ziploc bag, leaving room at the top for seedlings. Keep them nice and warm and you should get really good germination. Regards, P.KH4 |

| G'day to you both - I'd like to have a go at growing bamboo from seed also, but where can I get the seed? |
