I have long suspected that we paid the fatcats in Canberra way too much money, but this confirms it ...

Looking on the bright side, I estimate that I have saved myself thousands by doing the whole lot myself. And I havent lost a single plant to frost :)

Gosh the mind boggles Artie. $120 a hour just for walking around and yapping.
While you do all the writing guess I have saved myself a pretty penny sorry I mean $$ also.
Having lost no plant to frost either, and we do get them too I will send hubby a account.
Just to see what he says......Cheers..MM.

Hi MM,

I also found the part about the client 'taking notes' to be the icing on the cake. The local garden guru did my plan up for $25 - onsite consultation and a hand-drawn plan with a listing of what plant he felt should go where.

Cheers,

Artie

Good grief!! All I can say is what a rip off. I can't imagine anyone paying that...and you have to take notes! there must be a lot of people with more money than sense.
Cheers,
Dee.

I like the $800 bit for designing the garden - and then you have to do all of the digging and weeding..LOL
