Aglaonema Lost its Colors, why?

| I have had my Aglaonema for well over a year now. Its the one with Yellow, red and orange veins in the leaf. I had it in a shaded area away from the window for the longest time and it seemed dormant and wouldnt grow. So I put it in front of my kitchen window and it woke up and is growing so well and looks healthy and happy. However, all the new foliage is missing those bold colors. They are just green. I use an all purpose indoor plant fertilizer a few times a year.
Why did the colors go away? |

I have wondered why no coloured Ag's are available , maybe its because they are so unstable and sellers here are ethical in not releasing imported plants with poor colour . Only seen one with any decent colour and owner would not part with the smallest bit . |

| Most likely because the plant is not getting enough light.. Mine are growing in the garden in full sun and under trees in 75% shade and are beautiful colours. The light coming from a window would not be as bright as what they would receive if they lived outdoors. Try putting them outdoors for a while best to put then in the shade till they harden up them gradually let them get a bit more sun ever day.. Where do you live we made be able to help better if we know.. |
