Bamboo

I would like to plant some bamboo (clumping of course) on my property on the sunshine coast. I am on acreage so eventual size does not matter. Can anyone advise on best varieties to try. Thanks. Don

RE: Bamboo

Depends on what you fancy. Would you like a 17 meter bamboo or 30 meter type. Have you tried google ? Green , yellow/green striped, black or multi color. Lako is one of your best choices and very reasonably priced in your neck of the woods. Dendrocalamus Latiflorus mei-nung is an incredible specimen if you want a big one. If you like something more ornate then try Bambusa Textilis.
