Hi, can anyone tell me how to grow this from a cutting? what sort of cutting? can I do it now?

| Annie, can be difficult because of the long internode spacing (Dries out) Spring would be the best time but you may be able to get one going now if it stays reasonably warm. Cutting needs to be about pencil thickness,at least one node at top, one on the bottom, cut just below and use rooting powder. Granitic course sand is the best medium, but if you just get any free draining mix and place in a protected, warm spot and keep just moist you should be able to strike it ok. It is best to put five or six cuttings in a pot rather than just one. Good luck. |

Thanks. Which part of the vine do you use? the soft green part or the tougher white-ish bit?

| I grow this vine in Florida. I have had success rooting in water. 10-12" pieces, one node underwater. I have had success in summer & fall. |
