| Does anyone know of a general gardening or tropical gardening club situated in Mackay? Not for specific type of plant eg orchid or bromeliad,but for social & info. |

| Look up the Queensland council of garden clubs site - there should be a list of all clubs which are affiliated with them. You could also ring some of the local churches to see if they have any - Some of the Uniting churches in Brisbane/Ipswich have them - Most of the members are not parishoners |

| Details are: Mackay & District Horticultural Society, PO Box 427, Mackay,q, 4740 Contact 07 49563469 President I believe they usually meet at the Horticultural Pavilion at the show grounds on 4th Thursday of the month at 7.15pm - Hope this helps - Robyn |
