magnolia grandiflora Little Gem and coastal growing

Does any one know how a magnolia grandiflora will tolerate coastal conditions or is there any other magnolias that would do well about 500 meters of the actaul coastal line.
I am better with the natives than exotics so any help would be greatly appriciated.....thankyou...oh by the way its on the south coast near Ulladulla if thats any help

It takes coastal conditions very well!
