This is a stupid question i know but here goes. From what I gather you can put anything in compost except dairy products and meat scraps. Now I was cleaning out my pantry last night and came across a big container of granita some type of dry cereal and also some sesame seeds. They won't be used so can I bung them in the compost?

You sure can Janco! It's pretty dry stuff, so a little slurp of water over it wouldn't hurt.
The only stupid question is one you DON'T ask!
Cheers,
Dee.
