Variegated Poinciana

Hi all - I spotted a variegated Delonix at a Darwin nursery yesterday. The leaflets were small and a bit deformed and edged with white, and apparently the flower is the usual red. Has anyone had experience with this plant? I held off buying it because I wasn't sure if it would be a hardy tree, or a bit stunted like the leaflets.
Besides this and the yellow flowered form, is anyone aware of any other tyypes of Delonix? |

| Re white jacaranda ... Is your tree grafted? Ours is, so I doubt that any seeds would be white, but I'm ready to stand corrected. Also, there are lots of delonix, but most are types of bottle tree. Delonix regia is the exception and looks quite different. We have delonix decaryi and other that I can't recall, offhand. |
