Does anyone know of a nursery in the Perth area or a mail order nursery that sends to WA where I would be able to buy a Michelia champaka or a Michelia x "ALba"?

If you're prepared to pay for one, you could try asking your local nursery to buy one for you. It might take a few weeks or so, but they should be able to find both plants for you. (That's how I got my M. champaca.)

I've asked my local Bunnings to try and get me a M. Champaka. Is there anyone else out there growing this species? Any culture tips?

The plant should come with cultivation notes, but it's a sub/tropical species that likes a frost-free climate and rich, well-drained neutral to acid soil. Apparently they resent being transplanted.
