| Well done Bob, This is the growing season mine are flying away also. There are so many new thick shoots on my B.oldhamii the two story house at the back has just about disapeared, and if you sit there and watch them they will grow before your eyes. Cheers..MM. |

| Congratulations. All that worry for nothing :) Good luck with it. The Bambusa vulgaris we planted a couple of months ago put up its first culm a couple of weeks ago and we were surprised at how fast it is growing. We decided to measure it and found for 24hrs from 5pm Saturday until 5pm Sunday it grew 14cm! It is now over 2m tall. The Oldhamii we planted at the same time has only just put its first culm up on Friday but it is in a drier position. |
