| Thanks for the kind replies.,.,.,. A bit about me.. Grew up in South Australia, always loved plants. Started a gardening apprenticeship, finished cert 2 in horticulture. left my apprenticeship for a postion in a native plant nursery in adelaide. natives are my passion. stuffed my back up moved back to my parents for two years, had my back operation and bludged while it healed, most boring 2 years of my life. Moved to Townsville QLD, love it here. now work with computers since i cant lift too much now. Still frequently visit various bush sites. The vegetation here is so much different to what im used too. trying to learn tropical plants now, aint easy....Glad to be a member of this great forum and look forward to swapping info with you all...feel free to email me at any time.. brad_tye@hotmail.com |

| Hi Brad, enjoy Townsville and nQ. Reminds me, I was quite excited to see the local publications in the JCU bookshop. They ranged from a simple booklet on the plants of the Douglas campus to detailed ID help on the flora of Magnetic Island and the Burra ? Range and more. Had no dough at the time else wouldn't have been able to resist some addition to the native shelf. Cheers Rose |
