I discovered this excellent book at my local library and am interested in obtaining a copy new or secondhand though I believe it is now outof print. There may also be a CD available

Is that a book put out by the Australian Plant Study Group? I have a book called "Grow What Small Plant" and another "Grow What Basic" by that group. I was lucky enough to buy them secondhand at a library that was closing down. Have you tried any second-hand book shops? Op shops? School fetes? etc. Even our local library has book sales from time to time. Worth asking about....Cheers, Dee.
