Pregnant Robin Gordon

| Hi all,
For the first time in the twenty years or so I have been growing Robin Gordon's in my garden, I saw today a single solitary seed pod on a spent flower spike. Have never seen this before, it is still green so I will wait for it to dry and try to catch it before a hungry rosella has it for breakfast.
Anyone seen this before???? If so what is the likely outcome? Is it worth propagating? The other G's in the garden are, Moon Glow, Red Silky Oak, Superb, and a couple of others.

| Jim, Tie a plastic bag around it soon. If it matures and it is like the grevilleas I know about, you will lose the seed otherwise. Because grevilleas hybridise so readily, I suspect what you get will be a surprise - could be any size and colour of flower. Cheers, Frank |
