Isopogon water needs?

I planted an Isopogon early spring, it just seems to be sitting there doing nothing (with a little flowercone that has formed) - should I give it additional water? or are these plants really hardy?

RE: Isopogon water needs?

As with all native plants water regularly when they are young and occassionally if at all when they are mature.
