Can someone please identify this plant for me?

Hello guys,
A friend of mine showed me a photo of a reptile enclosure he has. He said that he thinks it's an australian species of plants. I was wondering if someone could possibly identify these 2 plants for me as I hope to use them in a gecko enclosure and need to do some research. Are they toxic at all?

Here is a link that might be useful: THIS IS THE LINK TO THE PHOTO

Hi the one on the left looks like a Philodendron and if not then it is a Monstera deliciosa, do a Google on them and you may be able to see which one it is. I have a few growing and they grow huge just how big is that reptile enclosure it sure looks good.

The one on the right is a Fan Palm once again it grows a big fan also. How long has those plants been in that enclosure do you know. I hope this has been a little help if not someone else will let you know if Iam wrong ...Cheers..MM.

Hello, thanks alot. I will now have a google search =)
I think he's only just set up the enclosure, I am very envious of it. The one I am creating is only around 60cmx40x40. I will just have to get my gardening gloves out and prunes hehe. Thanks alot.
Do you know if either would be toxic to animals?

All those plants look like plastic ones to me, rather clumsily positioned, and none are copies of Australian plants. The palm looks closest to Chamaerops or Trachycarpus.

That would be a pitty if they were. My friend actually never mentioned anything about them being live or not, he simply said he would get me some. The prices he told me were very cheap so I wouldn't be surprised if they were fake. In a way this could be good....but I like the naturalstic approach. I will post here if they are fake...good fakes though eh?

"good fakes though eh?"

No, not really. Good fakes are hard to tell even when you are holding them in your hand. Some of the chinese hand painted orchids are superb.

If they were real, I wouldn't like to see the results of what looks like a Ficus in the back right hand corner!
