G'day all
I have 2 wattles in the second year and they are both covered with seed pods . That is dozens of pods more than i think is norm
Any ideas?

| I have quite a few species of wattles all covered in too many pods. I believe they have decided that after two drought years and finally some spring rain that they should reproduce before they die. They might be right. I know that's a bit morose but my Banksia coccinea flowered well on the South Coast of NSW and I thought that was too weird and a harbinger of climate change. Prune all the wattles though because they will look better in the long run. Neil |

Thanks Neil Yes you could have hit the nail on the head. I have pruned and also taken a lot of pods off It will be a waiting game now. |
