Any idea what this is:
puzzler

I'm pretty sure it is amaranth family, and it looks like a ptilotus flower, but the leaves are wrong (I think all ptilotus are opposite leaves, these leaves are in hands of three).

I think the seed is from central victoria, perhaps around stawell. I think it's a weed.

g'day tony,

i think tony from oz nailed it hey also think i may have some here not sure anyway in my mixed pasture it will do it's nitrogen fixing duties the leaf set up sort of indicated its role to me.
