Native Clematis Transplant?

Hi,
12 years ago we bought land on Bruny Island, Tasmania. It was used to graze sheep. Since then we have kept unwanted animals out and have had many Native plant surprises. One little joy is a native clematis. We now have several lovely plants growing. Mostly they have four petals but one has five.

The question is, Can I transplant one that is growing in an inconveniant place, will it survive? Is there any 'tricks'. They are precious little gems that are growing well. I don't wont to kill one with over enthusiasm.

Also I believe the variety is Aristata Clematis.
I have put some photos of them here:

if you would like a look.

They are sort of fun; Suddenly an unoticed creaper burst into flower over a Blackwood. Some vivistors are surprised to see wattles with that type of flower (hee hee) Then after they flower they have a fluffy ball of seeds that also look magical in the setting they are in. (forgot to photo the seeds)

Any thoughts welcome.

Yep, that's aristata. I think they do better from seed - the one I tried to move gave up the next summer. They are quite easy to grow from seed, but they seem to just sit there for a few years before leaping. Mum and dad have one that is growing under their front porch along the roof - it's growing under the eaves on the south side of the house and yet it's growing well and flowering beautifully. Another to add to the shadey spots collection!
