something is eating my banksia

i finally got my hands on a prostrate banksia but now something is eating the new growths, what can i use to kill what ever is doing it?

Work out what it is first. Then squish it if you don't want it.

There are no magic bullet chemicals which will stop all pests.

lychas - As Nathan said, try and find out what it is first. A likely guess would be a caterpillar doing the damage. If you pick up the growth and search along the undersides you'll most likely find it/them hiding there. Easiest solution is to remove the pests, or spray with an insecticide like Folimat.
