Germinating grevillea

Hello,

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for how to germinate grevillea seeds?

I have a few seed pods - do i need to open them also do these seeds need smoke water?

hi there. its not normally recommended to grow grevilleas from seed as they hybridise readily , so you can't always be sure what your going to get ! If you want to grow a particular grevillea then the best way is to do it is by cuttings , that way you will get a plant that is genetically identical to the original. hope this helps votepalantine
